North Montgomeryshire Volunteer Bureau is located in Welshpool and promotes volunteering throughout North Montgomeryshire. We have a wide variety of voluntary opportunities with local and national organisations and we provide on-going support and advocacy to volunteers who are placed with these organisations.
Our local community also benefits through the activity of volunteers. We operate a community transport scheme using volunteer drivers to provide transport for the elderly, disabled, learning disabilities, people on low income and those with no access to transport. We have drivers spread throughout North Montgomeryshire to ensure our scheme is accessible for those in need of transport.
