Welshpool Community Transport provides £1 taxi tokens for people who have no transport of their own and no access to a car within the household. They need to live in Welshpool or in a 10 mile radius of Welshpool up to the English border.
We aim to support people who are disadvantaged by either health/ isolation/ poverty or any combination of these. The majority of our beneficiaries are the elderly who can no longer drive but we are very much open to applicants whose mobility has been affected by, for example, stroke, heart attack, MS, or mental health issues.
