The Friends of St Jerome's, Llangwm

The Friends of St. Jerome's, Llangwm was established as the church reopened after an 18 month renovation project. Our primary task is to curate "The Talking Tapestry of Langum", looking after visitors, presenting talks to organised group visits and raising funds to keep the building in good order through the sale of Merchandise and organising special medieval themed events. We have a steering group of 8 members, some are representatives of the church and others are non-worshippers but represent the wider community. People join the steering group to deliver great fundraising ideas and have special skills such as presenting an engaging talk, have extensive journalistic experience, or expertise in special skills such as IT. The organisation is run on a business footing and has proved its adeptness at such.
