Repair Cafe Wales is collection of volunteers who get together at Repair Cafe events and fix items that the public bring in, for free. Our goal is to reduce landfill waste, build stronger communities, and save people some money in the process.
Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliances (toasters, hairdryers, vacuum cleaners), computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair, and small furniture (chairs, tables, lamps).
We're looking for people to join our team of volunteers to help fix things at Repair Cafe events and run the events themselves e.g. social media, helping on the day, organising etc. To find out where your nearest repair cafe is please check our website: www.repaircafewales.org
