Pembrokeshire Friends of the Earth

Friends of the Earth is the world's most extensive grassroots network working for environmental justice - that means ensuring a fair share for everyone now and in the future while looking after our planet. Since it was set up in 1987, Pembrokeshire Friends of the Earth has achieved many successes on local campaigns, from preventing the burning of dirty orimulsion at Pembroke Power Station; instigating legal action over the Sea Empress oil spill and successfully opposing the dualling of the A40. Currently we are campaigning against the proposal to generate electricity from biomass and waste at Blackbridge, Milford Haven.
