Pembrokeshire Carers Information and Support Service is managed and delivered by Hafal Crossroads , a charity that has been providing short breaks and practical support to unpaid Carers in Pembrokeshire for over 25 years.
The service operates from an office in Haverfordwest and provides :
> A Carers Drop-in Centre (Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm)
> Carers Information - telephone advice and an up-to-date,
comprehensive information pack available on request
> 1-2-1 Outreach support in health and community settings
and at home
> Carers Gazette - a quarterly Newsletter devoted to Carers
> Emergency Card back-up scheme - ensuring no-one with
care needs is left unattended in an emergency
> Carers Recognition Card - enabling unpaid Carers to access
discounts and benefits
> Carer Events - giving Carers opportunities to meet each
other and discuss issues of interest and benefit to them
> Carers Voice - helping Carers to have their voices heard
and influence the planning and development of services
