The Newtown and District Dial a Ride Service is a fully accessible transport link in Mid Wales for the elderly, disabled and for the people with mobility problems.
Membership:
To use Dial A Ride Services it requires you to become a member. To Become a Member you need to pay a small membership fee of £10 per year.
The Dial a Ride Service operates Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm within a 15 mile radius of Newtown.
A booking system is operated where by members telephone the office to book in their journey – 24 hours notice is required. No bookings can be taken on the day of transport
The provision of safe and affordable transport to the elderly and disabled members of our community in buses specially adapted to carry wheelchairs.
