Myddfai Community Hall and Visitor Centre

Myddfai Community Hall & Visitor Centre is nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park village of Myddfai, surrounded by stunning scenery, just three miles from the market town of Llandovery. This fabulous new Centre is recognised as one of the most stunning and well equipped venues in the area. It was designed and built with funding from the Big Lottery Village SOS Scheme and supported by a wide range of other funders. The story of the Myddfai project and build was followed by the BBC as part of the ‘Village SOS’ series with presenter Sarah Beeny and was shown on BBC One in August 2011. The Centre was officially opened in June 2011 by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall, who have their Welsh home in Myddfai.
At the Centre there is a lovely Café serving tasty home-made foods and superb gift shop that stocks many unique local crafts and artwork, both are open 6 days a week- closed Mondays. The main hall is licenced for Weddings, and is also ideal for parties, conferences and concerts as well as fitness or activity classes. There is also a small room and balcony area ideal for smaller meetings or groups.
