Knighton Men's Shed

Part of the worldwide organisation known as Men in Sheds, the Knighton Men's Shed consists of a group of local men who have combined to establish a joinery workshop at Teme Mill, Station Yard, Knighton, LD7 1DT.

We currently open two mornings a week on Monday and Wednesday from 10am until 2pm. We make animal habitats of all sorts, carry out furniture repairs and restoration, offer a tool renovation service, accept commissions to create various items and construct a number of timber products that are sold both at Teme Mill and at local fairs to fund the enterprise.

We have Charity status as we are offering support and companionship to men of all ages that feel excluded , for whatever reason. from the mainstay of society.

Some of the items we keep in stock for sale are bird, swift, owl, bat and hedgehog habitat boxes, ornate wall mounted insect house/bird tables, normal rustic bird tables, bird feeders, boot removers and children's wooden chairs. We have a number of designs available for garden furniture, planters, raised beds and other products that we can construct, to order, at a fraction of shop prices. We are also open to any ideas as to how to improve our service to the community.
