Specialist one-to-one advocacy for adults with learning disabilities and or autism / neurodiversity. Must be accessing or awaiting assessment for Bridgend County Borough Council social services.
This is to support people to have an equal voice and make decisions around issues including:
• Assessment, Care and Support Planning, Reviews
• Safeguarding
• Accessing Information, Advice and Assistance
• Accommodation issues (inc. Care Homes)
• Concern / dissatisfaction / complaint
• Change of service type / Preparing to leave hospital and return to the community

IMPORTANT: Our staff work part-time. We do not have standard opening days / hours — this is led by the needs of our work and what staff can do within their weekly working hours.
