We are an independent charity which is managed by a voluntary committee of local families, offering affordable full Day Care provision for 0-12 yr olds.
We keep our groups small only accepting 48 children per session. Our minimum staffing ratios are; 1 adult to 3 babies age 0-2yrs, 1 adult to 4 children aged 2-3yrs , 1 adult to 8 children aged 3-7yrs and 1 adult to 10 children age 8-12 years.
The Playgroup uses the Birth to Three Matters curriculum for children 0-3yrs and the Welsh Foundation Phase curriculum for 3-5yrs. All staff are qualified in playwork as well as childcare & education.
The setting has consistently achieved good results in Estyn & CIW inspections.
