Pembrokeshire FRAME: Empowering Through Sustainability and Support
Who We Are
Pembrokeshire FRAME is a registered charity dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and those facing workplace disadvantages. We have evolved our services to encompass a range of initiatives that contribute to our charitable objectives.
Our Expanding Reach
Pembrokeshire FRAME operates through multiple channels, including two furniture reuse stores, the eco-conscious Pembrokeshire Refill, the House of FRAME, the One of a Kind furniture upcycling project, Found It at FRAME, and eBay listings. Each channel serves a unique purpose and collectively supports our mission.
Creating Opportunities
We offer voluntary placements in various departments, providing valuable work experience and skills development opportunities. These departments include:
Retail: Work in our furniture reuse stores and experience the retail environment.
Logistics: Help with deliveries and collections
Upcycling: Get creative and learn the art of transforming furniture.
E-commerce: Contribute to our online sales platform, including eBay.
Pembrokeshire Refill: Join the sustainability movement by reducing single-use plastic.
House of FRAME: Explore vintage and bespoke items and help run our new store.
Sustainability at the Core
We are committed to promoting sustainable practices. Our team works diligently to extend the useful life of various items, from furniture to clothing, significantly reducing the volume of waste going to landfill sites. Our Pembrokeshire Refill initiative has made significant strides in reducing single-use plastic.
Low-Cost Solutions with Social Impact
We provide low-cost, pre-loved items to individuals and families in need. The proceeds from these sales are instrumental in sustaining our efforts to support individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, learning difficulties, and those who've faced social exclusion.
