Melin Community Trust (MCT) is volunteer led charity set-up in 2002 to foster Community Development and Regeneration work in the Neath Port Talbot area.
MCT organises local projects such as May Day and Christmas events; we provide venues for advice provision, IT skills and adult literacy and we run sessions in various venues across Neath Port Talbot to help people become digitally included.
One of our latest projects is looking at help to relieve the problem of loneliness. Through our interactions with local people including our volunteers we seek to be led by local needs to provide needed services.
We are going through a rebranding phase in 2019 and are transitioning from our old company name Melincryddan Community Conference to Melin Community Trust.
