Lampeter Food Bank provides food for those who find themselves in a crisis situation that leaves them without food. The Food Bank is there to meet the immediate crisis needs of people living in and around Lampeter and not to sustain long term support. We provide food for three meals for three day, mostly tinned and dry goods with some fresh food.
Referrals need to be made to our phone number by an agency: referring agencies include housing associations, Camfan & Care Society, CAB, Social Services, Barod Cymru, HomeStart, and Team Around the Family
The Food Bank was established in 2012 as part of the Christian witness of churches and chapels in Lampeter. We serve all of any faith or none, and we welcome volunteers from all parts of our community.
