The purpose of the BMCP is to enable development and partnership between the communities of Brecon and Molo, to combat poverty and discrimination. When this started it was guided by the principles of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG), which have since been replaced by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The active work of the partnership has been based on Health, Disability, Livelihood and, to a lesser extent, Schooling focus groups, that link the experiences and skills of Brecon and Molo.
