Action for Elders was created to provide a long-term solution to the problem of an ageing population. We are all living longer so it’s time to take a positive approach to ageing. We run successful ‘Balanced Lives’ programmes throughout the UK. They deal with physical, mental and social well-being, giving people the tools to take control of their health during later years.
Balanced Lives is a unique programme: with a blend of gentle exercise designed to get people mobile, become part of a local community and build self-confidence.
So far we have helped over 1000 older people and those that care for them.
