The Heritage Centre is actively seeking volunteers in a number of key areas, including:
- Coffee Shop
- Reception and Gift Shop
- Workshop
- Museum collections and archive
Our volunteers are friendly and enthusiastic, and all have a passion for working in a community with a proud heritage. Knowledge of the subject matter isn't essential, but an interest in history is vital. Most of our volunteers are customer facing and some roles involve handling money.
We are happy to accept volunteer applications from all parts of the community and will always try and match a role to any individual's skills or circumstances.
