Volunteer Gardening at Cosmeston Village.

Within the Village we have several gardens of different types, so we have something for everyone.

From formal courtyard and rose gardens, to themed gardens such as the dyers garden and religious garden, as well as a medicinal herb garden, medieval field with vegetables and grain, and hopefully soon, an orchard and vineyard.

Although this may sound daunting, the gardens vary from beginners to expert.

We are open from 10:00 until 3:00pm this time of year for volunteers, Monday to Friday.
All we ask is that you let us know when you would like to come in, to ensure there is a member of staff on site with you.
Volunteers can do as much or as little as they want. You can work to whatever hours suit you.
