Moving On

Moving On is project that focuses on helping our members become more independent by providing a safe environment for them to make mistakes and grow.
We support adults with learning disabilities and autism to build confidence, independence, and skills for everyday life. Our sessions are friendly, inclusive and accessible. We promote a safe environment where members feel comfortable to explore, ask questions and grow at their own pace.

The project is run as a series of 9-week courses, covering:
• Employability
• Relationships
• Wellbeing
• Household Management
• Cooking

Through group discussions, fun activities and real-life examples, we help people understand the world around them and make informed choices.

We focus on creating a solid foundation for growth by encouraging peer support, having honest conversations and providing consistent, inclusive and respectful guidance

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to develop their strengths, connect with others, and work towards their goals—whether that’s finding a job, staying safe online, or feeling more confident in a group.
