We know recent years have been tough. Men are three times more likely to take their life, struggle with addiction, and avoid seeking help. At Stand Tall, we aim to ease the burden of poor mental health in Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan through a hands-on approach that treats physical and mental health equally.

We provide free support for men facing mild to moderate mental health challenges, primarily through our ongoing 'Strength and Wellbeing' sessions.

Monday evenings: Group workouts at the gym, tailored to all abilities, building strength, fitness, and confidence.
Friday evenings: Informal meet-ups discussing topics like stress, sleep, anxiety, and overall wellbeing, using evidence-based tools and techniques.

Our approach is built with men’s needs in mind, combining physical activity with mental health support to foster resilience and growth.
