What is Work Choice? Work Choice is a voluntary, Government supported employment programme designed specifically for people who, due to their disability, may find it difficult to find or stay in work. The programme is flexible and is tailored to the customer's individual needs, helping them to identify the right job opportunities, apply for work and move into employment. We also offer ongoing support once that customer is in work. Who is eligible? Our customers qualify if they are disabled as defined by the Equalities Act 2010 and their disability means that they face significant barriers to work, such as Complex work-related support needs arising primarily from disability Requirements in work which cannot immediately be overcome through workplace adjustments A need for support in work as well as help with finding work and cannot be helped through other DWP programmes.
