Respite Care Service — Age Cymru Gwent

Our home Respite Care Service is provided across Gwent.

Delivered at home, offering personalised respite care options, allowing carers
to have a break from their caring role, time for your health and wellbeing plus
the peace of mind that your loved ones are in safe hands.

We have a funded service available in Monmouthshire and Newport.
In Monmouthshire a carers assessment is required and a referral is made from
the carers team or local authority and In Newport a referral from any health professional.

Alternatively within all areas across Gwent we offer a chargeable Respite Care Service
option provided at competitive rates and anyone can refer into the service.

The service can be delivered over 24 hours, 7 days a week, throughout the
year. Respite sits are provided on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or ad-hoc basis.
