We meet on a weekly basis on Mondays from 2pm to 4pm, offering a variety of activities, eg singing, tai chi and boccia. Visits are arranged from a variety of speakers; topics range from mobility aids, driving, comfort furniture to cyber security. Close links are kept, through the local NHS consultants' clinics, with research projects affecting Parkinson's. Thanks to the generosity of local communities in supporting fundraising appeals, we are start a support group for those newly-diagnosed with Parkinson's while still managing work, mortgage, and parenting.
