As an independent foodbank we operate slightly differently in the way we distribute our food parcels compared to the large national organisations. We do get referrals from organisations working within the community, who provide vouchers for presentation to our foodbank when visiting. These are not always necessary though as we will assess the needs of anyone who presents during our periods of opening at the Tabernacle Chapel in Thomas Street, Pontardawe.
