V for Life is the leading authority on diet and healthy living advice for older vegans and vegetarians. It works with a diverse variety of stakeholders, including some of the UK's biggest care chains and food suppliers; government; and partner NGOs, to support, protect, and uphold the rights of older vegans and vegetarians.
The charity is registered to operate in the United Kingdom, where it offers a range of services for benefit of the UK’s older vegans and vegetarians. These include grants to support independent living; a pen- and phone-pals scheme; a virtual vegan lunch club; its own in-house publications; and signposting to relevant services (such as meal support for vulnerable older vegans and vegetarians).
The charity also works to train UK care establishments in catering well and ethically for the older vegans and vegetarians in their care.
