Local Community Coordinator: Blaengarw, Pontcymmer, Llangeinor, Betws, Ynysawdre, Aberkenfig

We are transforming the way we work with people in communities - helping people to create their own practical solutions within communities that are inclusive and supportive. The Local Community Coordinator is a qualified and professional person who will work with individuals, young people, vulnerable adults, people with disabilities and carers who present with wide-ranging difficulties and issues. The LCC will use extensive knowledge of community resources to tailor individual support which will help build resilience and promote well being. The LCC combines a passion for the local community, with a commitment to working alongside people in very practical ways - always looking for local solutions through the networks and resources that they know within the community.

The LCC hopes to develop strong partnerships with communities, agencies and services within the third sector and voluntary groups and organisations to develop their capacity to include the needs of all citizens.
