Barry and The Vale RAF Association

Barry and The Vale Branch as part of the RAFA, is a charity that provides advice, support and friendship to the ex RAF community and their dependents within the Vale of Glamorgan.
We provide friendship, help and support to the whole RAF family, those who served, their spouses, widows, widowers, and young children. This covers everything from visits to a World War II veteran who can't get out and about, to complex welfare cases involving mental health issues and confusion over benefits.
Additionally, we provide a 'Connections for Life' service which involves visiting or telephoning an individual, where it is identified that elderly RAF veterans and / or their partners have become lonely and isolated within their own home, through no fault of their own.
