As a Volunteer Driver you will be offering a valuable 1-1 service taking clients to health appointments and pick ups from hospital. You must have access to your own vehicle - travel mileage expenses will be reimbursed. We also need a Volunteer Coordinator to help oversee all the various journeys with the drivers and help liaise with clients.
Driving or using public transport can be challenging for people with health conditions or restricted mobility. Getting out is vital for maintaining a healthy and happy life. It's more than just transportation. It's offering them a lifeline.
