The Dusty Shed is a Men's Shed which was set up as a charity primarily to promote health and wellbeing by reducing loneliness and isolation. We provide a very well-equipped workshop and meeting space where our members can meet in a friendly environment and participate in woodwork or other practical tasks, they wish to do. Our emphasis is on, but not limited, to help older men and women.
We do not reject any person on the basis of their race, religion, gender, disability or age. However, out of necessity, we must apply certain restrictions due to the nature of the work we do, the size of our premises, and the age and health of our own members who also act as volunteers when helping new members.
We are open on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10am to 2pm. Please check our website for terms and conditions of membership, and contact us by phone or email to arrange a visit.
