RESPITE+ provides funded Personal Assistants to support those living with Dementia, accompanying to Brecon Meeting Centre Club every Thursday, giving their Carer valuable respite time. RESPITE+ is also able to offer Personal Assistant support to those living with Dementia in their own homes, or accompany on days out in addition to supporting them to attend the Meeting Centre on Thursdays. Transport can also be arranged to support attendance at the weekly Meeting Centre sessions. This project is funded by the PAVO managed SVF grant and is supporting a partnership between Dementia Matters in Powys and Silver Assist Homecare.
Thursdays 11am - 3pm RESPITE+ also offers support outside of the regular Thursday sessions, this is assessed on duration and frequency of respite required outside of the Thursday sessions.
