People pay £4.00 (accompanied children free). They receive a bowl of donated homemade soup and bread ( donated by the co-op). Speakers from four community groups are invited to each make a 4 minute presentation to explain what they do,what help they may need to do it and ,if funds are being asked for, what the money would be used for. As people then choose their soup, they are invited to silently vote for community projects funding and before the event finishes ( at about 1.30), money is distributed to the recipient groups.
