We have currently 2 cars which are available for use by our members, one of which is an EV. All members need a reasonably clean licence. If you are under 25 or 71 and over, we would need to discuss it further with you as there are extra insurance conditions we must satisfy first.
We are based in Llanidloes and our aims include encouraging people to use their cars less and consider other forms of transport. Current charges for use are:
25p per mile reducing to 10p per mile after 150 miles and £1 per hour
Bills are sent out monthly.
We have an online booking system and each new member is given a short guided-tour of how it and the booking in and out procedure works. If you want to drive the EV, you will also need to have a short familiarisation session.
