HUTS Home Befriending allows a trained, DBS checked volunteer to visit an adult living within the South Ceredigion area. This one-to-one companionship has the aim of encouraging confidence about getting back into local community life and achieving simple things that we can often take for granted. Going for a walk, visiting a place of interest or just spending time chatting are sometimes all that is needed to help an isolated person feel confident again.
