The Community Liaison and Participation Project is a Big Lottery Fund initiative set up by Terrence Higgins Trust Cymru. We work with people living with HIV and / or Hepatitis C to reduce social isolation by increasing participation with services in local communities across Powys and beyond.
We have a dedicated worker in Powys who can offer support and advice on:
Reducing isolationAccessing peer supportParticipating in voluntary workRe-trainingReturning to education or employmentManaging health concernsAccessing counsellingKeeping fit and healthyAccessing other services We also provide training on issues relating to HIV and Hepatitis to partner organisations. Our aim is to facilitate the participation of people living with HIV and / or Hepatitis in their local communities by increasing understanding and reducing stigma across Powys.
The project works in parallel with our sister project, HIV and Hepatitis Action Wales.
