Gisda is a charity that provides support and opportunities to homeless and vulnerable young people in Gwynedd by providing accommodation; theraputic support to develop confidence and independant living skills; wellbeing and mental health support; progression support for employment, education and/or training; creative activities to raise confidence and develop skills; opportunities to broaden horizons. This is to reach our vision that Gwynedd's young people can live happy and safe lives free from disadvantage and inequity. It provides a range of projects such as Academi Cyflaeon which provides support to 16 - 25 year olds across Gwynedd with independent living skills, employability, volunteering and training. ICAN, which provides early support to people struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. LGBTQ+, youth clubs in Caernarfon, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Pwllheli for LGBTQ+ people. Housing Support, providing support to young people on their journey to independent living.
