FareShare Cymru is a registered charity based in Cardiff and working throughout South Wales.
FareShare Cymru works to support organisations working within their local communities. We secure good quality surplus food and drink, which would otherwise be wasted, from the food industry and supply this to charities and community groups throughout the area, providing them with a value for money option for their supply food and drink. This may be for their kitchens, the kitchens used by residents, or for cookery classes, breakfast clubs luncheon clubs etc.
We also have the FareShare Go project which involves picking up surplus food from participating supermarkets at the end of the day.
