Dolen Teifi was created by volunteers from the enterprise group Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli Ymlaen Cyf. Our goal has always been to provide sustainable transport to the people who live in Llandysul and the surrounding area.We have now extended our services to other community groups along the Teifi Valley from Newcastle Emlyn to Llanybydder.
We have two buses, one a 16 seater bus and the other a 15 seater bus which is fully accessible.
Our drivers are volunteers from the local community who have been trained to the MiDAS standard.For more information about what is required to volunteer as a bus driver see our volunteer page.
We hire our buses to community groups in the Teifi Valley area who have joined Dolen Teifi. This subscription fee of £10 per annum is used to help cover our administration charges. ;The group is charged £1 per mile from the parking area to the minibus's return.
