Cyfle Cymru is a project that aims at supporting people who are unemployed and suffering from poor mental health, substance misuse or long term unemployment and our goal is to help them re engage with society and eventually get into employment. We do this via one to one support with a peer mentor who will be assigned after signing up with the project. We will build an action plan with you to see how it would be best to move forward and to clearly set out the goals you would like to achieve. Our peer mentors will have had some lived experience and are familiar with a number of services that can help. We offer activities and days out as well as volunteering to keep you busy in the week and also some courses such as sleep better and healthy eating as well as some accredited courses that will help with your personal development. Once you feel ready to step into employment you will be passed over to an employment liaison officer who can then try to help find you the work you'd enjoy.
