Cyfannol Women's Aid supports people in Monmouthshire, Torfaen, Newport and Blaenau Gwent and the wider Gwent area who have experienced Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse or Sexual Violence (VAWDASV). Our mission is to empower women and children to flourish in a life free from VAWDASV.
We deliver a range of domestic abuse support services across Gwent. Our refuges in Torfaen, Newport, Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent offer safe accommodation for women and children. In the community, we provide drop-in and floating support, deliver the Own My Life Programme and Recovery Toolkit courses, and support children and young people via our STAR groups, mentoring programme and Ar Trac Project.
We also provide specialist support to survivors of sexual violence across Gwent via our Horizon services, which include Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA), counsellors, group work and sexual exploitation advocacy.
