A Cub Scout Pack can have up to 36 Cub Scouts and is split into smaller groups called Sixes. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors.

Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.

Cub Scouts meet at the Newtown Jubilee Scout Hall on Park Lane (along the footpath opposite the police station) on Wednesdays during school terms.

The group is a member of the Scout Association, a worldwide organisation who's aim is
to encourage the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people.

Scouts, Cubs and Beavers are required to wear uniform which may be purchased from the Scout Shop.

All members of the Scout Movement are required to adhere to a Scout Promise and a Law reflecting, in language appropriate to the culture and civilization of each National Scout Organization and approved by the World Organization, the principles of Duty to God, Duty to others and Duty to self, and inspired by the Promise and Law conceived by the Founder of the Scout Movement, Baden Powell.

We are looking to recruit a new Cubs Leader. If this is a volunteering position that you would be interested in, please get in touch.
