Crisis Skylight South Wales is a new service for single people who are homeless, in South Wales. The service was opened in April 2016 after extensive consultation with key stakeholders in the region. The service is the first Crisis presence in Wales, and we are forging strong partnerships with local providers and commissioners to ensure Skylight South Wales will complement and enhance existing services.
The team will initially be based in Swansea, offering education, employment, housing and health services. We are an outreach service - providing one-to-one housing, progression and essential skills advice and coaching directly to people who are homeless using community venues as well as day centres and hostels. As the service develops we will extend our services further afield across South Wales and the valleys.
