Location
Targeted youth work support at a prevention and early intervention stage. They can work with children and young people from the ages of 10 until 18 who are linked with secondary educational provision in schools and learning centres throughout Carmarthenshire and those educated other than at school. They can also offer support to parents/carers and work closely with Team Around the Family. Their work includes support around behaviour, relationships, peer pressure, health, social media, holiday activities , wellbeing and education to enable young people to take greater control of their lives and make more informed choices. They can help with key transitions both at the primary to secondary age and when leaving education . This can include helping with signposting support to avoid disengagement and strengthen chances of young people having a destination post leaving education.
