Barry War Museum and Heritage Centre aims to research, preserve and promote primarily the wartime history of the town and surrounding area, but also all aspects of its heritage through the Heritage Centre. We aim to support schools and groups researching the local history of Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan by exhibiting at heritage events and holding exhibitions about the topic, with the aim of educating the public. We also seek to learn more about this fascinating subject from those who lived through the town’s history.
