AVOW Shopmobility Service - Wrexham

The Shopmobility service in Wrexham is run by AVOW, and operates a fleet of manual and electrically powered wheelchairs and scooters for use by anyone with mobility problems. Once a member, you just book the machine for when you need it.

If you have never used a machine before rest assured ours are simple to operate. They are designed for use on pavements and will travel at walking pace driven by easy to use controls. For those of you unfamiliar with this kind of equipment training will be provided.

We also have wheelchairs available for hire and 'Booty' Scooters that fit into a car so you could take them away for you - ideal if you are having a short break away (in the UK!) and need some assistance with your mobility.
