Age Cymru Gwynedd a Môn provides a supported shopping service in Gwynedd commissioned by Gwynedd Council through the Supporting People Scheme. To be eligible for consideration, any potential user of the service must be in receipt of Housing Benefit.
The service entails a member of Age Cymru Gwynedd a Môn's Personal Care Team undertaking shopping duties on behalf of the individual that is deemed as eligible to receive the service. The shopping duties can involve the Age Cymru Gwynedd a Môn employee assisting the individual to undertake shopping duties by accompanying them to the shops and assisting with dietary needs.
