The Country Women Countrywide (CWC) website has been operating since April 2009 so that women who live or work in the countryside or who have an interest in rural life can keep in touch, find out about events, both local and national, and make new friends.
It also provides an opportunity for the County based Farm Women's Clubs (FWC) to continue those links which have been so valued by it’s membership over many, many years

We are a lively group of ladies who enjoy meeting and attending events either locally, regionally or nationally (or all three) throughout the year and we are working hard to attract and encourage new members and friendships and, as such, preserve and grow the organisation for future generations.
Our Annual Meeting takes place in August to which all members are welcome and can put their views forward for discussion at the meeting. Alternatively members can email us with their thoughts and comments before each meeting.
The national and regional events, which are going from strength to strength, have become both an expectation and a lifeline to many members. Over 50 members enjoy the Walking Weekend in October and/or the City-based Weekend in February .
The ‘Three Counties’ Lunch has now grown to become the ‘Southern Counties’ Lunch with as many as nine counties being represented in May 2012. We are committed to continuing and growing these events in the future.

and finally....... a word of reassurance, the Country Women Countrywide website is strictly controlled. Only members can access the website. Also, it is impossible for postings to be shared with other social networks or for other social networks to access it.
