Morriston Playscheme provides free open access play sessions for children and young people throughout the year, both indoors and outdoors. We have a year round provision, and have staff trained in facilitating play for young people with additional needs. The children and young people who attend choose their play in each session, as their play needs to be freely chosen and directed by their own vision and learning experiences.
We also provide volunteering opportunities for both young people and adults, and we will start recruiting volunteers from the age of 11. Our young volunteer programme is a dedicated programme, designed to increase knowledge, skills and confidence, and to achieve the individual goals of each volunteer. We offer opportunities for accreditation from the age of 14, and international volunteering opportunities from the age of 16.
